Maskwa Aquatic Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high performance paddling activities, as well as quality outdoor recreation, exercise and fun (including swimming, recreational paddling, and hiking) to Halifax and the surrounding community. Founded in 1974, Maskwa has been the centre of Halifax’s paddling community for 46 years, and has developed junior and elite-level paddlers, including 2012 Olympic bronze medalist, World Champion, and world record holder Mark de Jonge. 

Located on beautiful Kearney Lake, Maskwa is proud of its state-of-the-art clubhouse and boathouse located on a beautiful wooded property at the end of Saskatoon Drive.
